Owner Dan Jones began his flooring career in Georgia, the heart of the American carpet industry, where he gained experience in installation, inspection, and sales. After moving to the Monterey Peninsula, he purchased Carpets & Floors and built a career defined by craftsmanship, design, and enduring relationships.
With decades of experience, Dan is known for his extensive flooring knowledge, creative problem-solving, instinct for color and design, and quick wit. His belief in treating people with kindness, fairness, and respect has helped shape the culture of Carpets & Floors and remains an important part of the business today.
Dan has also paved the way for generations of flooring professionals, generously sharing his expertise, and giving others the opportunity to learn the craft, develop their skills, and build careers of their own.
Outside the showroom, Dan enjoys golf, ping-pong, and spending time with his family.
